About us

Part of WSX Enterprise, South East Design was created to deliver publicly funded design services across the South East.

We provide free help to businesses across the region to enable them to become more innovative, more competitive and more profitable by giving managers the skills to exploit design, spot opportunities, brief designers and run projects that deliver real benefits.

We deliver three major programmes under the Designing Demand banner:

• Generate – offering one-to-one support to help with strategic design decisions
• Innovate – using design to help attract investment to early stage technology
• Immerse – providing intensive support to put design at the heart of your business.

Developed by the Design Council, these programmes are all Solutions for Business products, funded by SEEDA and accessed via Business Link.

South East Design also delivers the European funded Sustainable Development programme focusing on how sustainable design, materials and processes can be used to reduce costs, increase sales and benefit the environment.
