Background
Anne Hoskins launched English Village Designs in 1985 as a commercial outlet for her architectural pen and ink drawings. The company designs and supplies consumer craft children’s products, cut-out models of traditional English buildings, structures and long boats, plus a range of historical press-out dolls to dress.
The challenge
The company’s marketing materials were tired and outdated and did not do justice to the products.
The response
A design company was commissioned to create a fresh corporate identity and marketing materials, after which the website was revised to incorporate the new branding guidelines.
The outcome
The immediate result of the design project is that sales have risen by one-third. In addition the company has received commissions to produce bespoke historical models.
